Welcome! Like everyone we each have skills that we are great at and others that need growth. No matter what led you to Set Apart Life Skills there are classes that will bridge the gap from where you are to where you are headed in life. That journey will look different for everyone! As a growth coach I can help you create your roadmap to the life you’ve always imagined.
A huge part of my story was transitioning from teaching public school to starting my own business. At first I was so burned out I couldn’t even tell you what I liked or brought me joy. I enrolled in a community pottery class and it helped bring me back to life! I had to navigate limiting mindsets, reconnect to my joy, learn new things about myself and my weaknesses so I could have the skills to launch a business.
Most skills I needed weren’t classes I could take locally, so through inquiry I taught myself a lot of new things. This website is a great example. With some initial guidance from a business friend I learned to create this WordPress site!
I look forward to meeting you, teaching you, as well as learning and growing along side of you in this journey we call life.
Classes
$125/2 hr session
This class is currently running on:
– Monday’s from 9:30-11:30
– Tuesday’s from 9:30-11:30
– Wednesdays from 8-10am & 10-12pm

1:1 class sessions are available as needed for students needing extended teaching & learning time outside of the group class.
$65/hr – 1:1 or Custom pricing for groups
Can be 1:1 or a group of students. This is perfect for students in 7-12 grade, college, or homeschool families that have students that need extra help with school work, organization, time management, and other school work based skills.
$25/person
Gather a group of friends, employees, or a community group at a location of your choice for a Make & Take project. This class makes for a great girls night, team builder, or DIY gift making session before a holiday or special occasion.
Make & Take Projects to ideas:
– Salt/Sugar Scrubs
– DIY Christmas Ornament: Popsicle sled, Painted Wood Slice
– Photo Cube (bring your own color printed photos or Text on computer paper, should fit on a 2″x2″ block) Photo can be transfered to wood or modge podged onto the block
– 2 Wood Block Snowmen or 6 Snowman head ornaments
– Homemade Fire Starters
– Cinnamon or salt dough ornaments
– Frame a Lego Base (perfect gift for a lego loving kid or kid at heart)

$85/Month
You’ve been a christian for sometime, maybe even your whole life but you’ve always been luke warm. You believe Jesus died for our sins but you’re not all in on living a set apart life for Him. You go about your day and do whatever you’re obligated to do. At the end of the day you wonder God, where are you? You feel like there’s more to life than what you’ve experienced. You’re right, there is! Once you find your identity in Christ and understand who he’s uniquely made you to be you can start walking out your God given purpose!

This class will address common skills adults need to live an independent life. This class covers topics such as patching a hole in the wall, how to rent an apartment, common household tools to own, work/life balance etc.
More classes coming soon. Feel free to reach out and request a class topic you’d love to learn about.
All students who do not cancelled within 24 hours prior to class time are subject to a $50 fee. The $50 fee will be charged to you for a missed class because you knew about class ahead of time and time and resources were wasted by the teacher in preparing and traveling to the class you did not show up to.
